ABOUT THE CUBAN FIVE: The Cuban Five have been sentenced to a total of four lifetimes plus 77 years for their attempts to prevent terrorist attacks against innocent victims by para-military groups operating out of south Florida. The Five were found guilty of conspiring to commit espionage and, in one case, of conspiring to commit murder. There was no evidence or witnesses against them; no crimes were committed: no injury, no theft, no property destruction.
