HIGH SCHOOLS AGAINST ISRAELI APARTHEID CONFERENCE: Break the Silence!

After 60 years of massive ethnic cleansing of indigenous Palestinians from their homeland and 40 years of brutal military occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip - its time to say 'Enough'!

On Saturday, February 9th, join High schools Against Israeli Apartheid (HAIA) for the first ever high school conference on the struggle for Palestinian freedom.  If you are a high school student come out and learn how to get involved, see an award winning documentary, meet guest speakers from South Africa to Palestine and enjoy an early breakfast with HAIA activists.

We will be joining the ‘BREAK THE SEIGE ON GAZA’ demonstration at 2:00pm outside the Israeli Consulate on 180 Bloor St. West (more information on the demonstration can be found at www.caiaweb.org).

After the demonstration we will head for an exciting evening cultural event: ‘VOICES FOR PALESTINE: RESISTANCE TO RACISM AND APARTHEID’ featuring some of the most talented spoken word artists and musicians in Toronto.
